Bellow is an example of an e-mail that ebay sellers often recieve trying to confuse them especially if they are selling a lot of items.
If you click on any links, you will get routed to a sign in area that looks like ebay and asks for you ebay user name and password. If you do this you have just given a scammer your information. If you do this by accident, which happens a lot, immediately go to ebay and change your password.
***Always respond to something like this using the "My Messages" section on ebay. If it isn't a real e-mail from ebay, it won't show up in your messages.*****

- Second Chance Offer emails with the subject of "message from eBay Member" are fake. Real Second Chance Offers come directly from eBay and also appear in My Messages with a subject stating "You have a second chance offer...".
- Never pay for your eBay item using instant case wire transfer services through Western Union or MoneyGram. These payment methods are unsafe when paying someone you don't know. Learn more about sending payments.
